Hi Suresh, There's no way of controlling the visibility of the Resource separately from the Task defined duration. As a workaround, you can use a 3D path with the Crane sitting outside the site view till you actually need it, which can be controlled with additional keyframes. Ideally, you should have another Task/Sub-Task dedicated to Crane activity, assign the Crane Resource to it, and set up the dates as required either manually or using relationship links with lag. You can re-use 3D Paths for each Resource-Task assignment; ie a single Resource can use the same 3D Path even if it's assigned to multiple different Tasks.
