Each form workflow is customizable. With each workflow you are able customize the following options: Edit Existing Status Edit Existing Transition buttons Add Status Add New Transition button Edit Existing Status Click on a status to display the Edit Status dialog. The following options can be modified: Name: Changes the Status Name Use as Starting Status check box: Enable this if this Status is the initial form status. Note: Multi start status' are allowed. State: Changes the State of the status. Editable and Disabled properties: Set which properties can be edited and which cannot. Visible to Roles: Determines which Roles have access to forms with this status. Delete: Deletes this status. Save: Saves any changes. Cancel: Cancels any changes. Edit Existing Transition Button To Edit the Existing Transition Button, click on the existing transition button. The following options are available: Name: Can change the Transition Button Name Status Transition: Can set the from next Status. This Status Transition must be unique. Include Comment on Transition: (Comments are not supported in SYNCHRO Field at this time. Please set this to None or Optional until further notice.) Notify Users on Transition: To notify additional user if this button is used. Permissions which can use this transition*: Only user with this permission can execute this transition. Assigned User of the form may use this transition regardless of their permission: Recommended to leave this disabled as the default. Property Assignments: Please do not use this option for now. Delete button: To delete this Transition Button Save: Saves any changes. Cancel: Cancels any changes. Add Status To add new Status, click on the Add Status button to display the Add Status dialog. The following options are available: Name: Enter a Status Name Use as Starting Status check box: To set if this new Status is initial form status. State: Set the State for the status. Editable and Disabled properties: set which properties can be edit and which one cannot. Save: Save the settings. Cancel: Cancels any changes. Add new Transition Button To Add the New Transition Button, click on the plus button shown below. The following options are available: Name: Enter name for the Transition Button. Status Transition: Sets a transition from one status to another. Include Comment on Transition: (Comments are not supported in SYNCHRO Field at this time. Please set this to None or Optional until further notice.) Notify Users on Transition: Enable to notify additional users if this button is used. Permissions which can use this transition*: Set permissions for who can execute this transition. Assignment User of the form may use this transition regardless of their permission: Allows the assignee to use the transition regardless of permissions. Property Assignments: This allows you to set specific properties (Assigned to, due date, type, etc.) to a specific value following that transition. Save: Saves the new button. Cancel: Cancels the changes.
