The Media Explorer lets the user index and search through potentially thousands of photos/videos which can be added to a project through Surveys, Inspections, Daily Logs as well as Progress tracking. Most photos and videos are not organized and maybe on employee devices, making them difficult if not impossible to find and retrieve in the event of a claim or other need. Photos are a significant risk mitigation data source usually resulting in contractors to error on the side of more photos than less. SYNCHRO Media indexing, an extension of SYNCHRO Control, brings value to SYNCHRO users through a Media Indexing preview grid while also displaying media geo-located within our map service. SYNCHRO users can now search based on four SYNCHRO vectors Geo-location, Date/Time, Content, and Context. The SYNCHRO Media indexing service is backed by the artificial intelligence of Microsoft cognitive services computer vision and SYNCHRO four pillars artificial intelligence machine learning model. NOTE: Currently only photo's that get uploaded and attached to forms from the desktop get indexed by the SYNCHRO Media Index. Search the Index To search the index, enter the search criteria in the field and select a date, or date range, to execute the search: To search for a date range click the Custom option and define the range in the dialog. Click Update to execute the search. The results are returned as shown below. Only pictures which include a crane are displayed: Standard wildcards can be used to string words together to return multiple results: If you click on a photo it will open and you are able to see the list of categories detected in the photo: Click the Map View to see the locations of the photos: The regions which include photos are shown on the map. The number of photos for the region is displayed in the blue pin on the map. When you click on the pin you are able to scroll through the photos.
