Break down project into manageable chunks by creating Construction Work Area. Work Area can be created by: selecting an alignment . Tool allows to define length, offset and tool will slice all elements crossing Work Area boundary. Only visible 3d elements will be sliced. drawing custom polygon . Visible elements that cross this polygon will be sliced and will be added to Work Area. adding individual elements selecting existing 2d design shape As a result Work Area object is created with a 3D elements relationship that belong to Work Area. Recommendation is to create Work Areas before cost codes assignment as Work Areas creation might remove assignments. As a result Work area is created with elements from defined polygon.
