I'm also fairly new to 3D printing, and will be able to make a lot of tests prints. Sometimes, it's hard to tell if there's problems before you've printed something large or tall, therefore the tweaking process is never a one-time thing for me. Hope this helps to get a great print, as it's magical once it begins working. I manually level all my enders. I have a BL touch , but I haven't made the effort to set it up yet. To the OP do not quit, but just know how to set your print surface. they're good printers, but they need to be given a bit more focus than like an Prusa or another more expensive brands. It's not possible to just leave and hope for perfection. It will cost you more.
